I have to admit that I really enjoyed experimenting with and learning how to anodise titanium! Bellow is a photo of stage 2 of the layered picture I was working on before… I’m not quite sure what to do with it now, but I’m happy to keep it to look at every now and then as a reminder of what can be done, and I have no doubt that something beautiful will be born from my hands one day as a result of this.

I’ve decided to aquire some new skills to equip myself for my metal collages, so I’ve been playing with different ways to colour metal.
Firstly I learnt how to anodise Titanium
Here are some tips: To mix 1l of etching solution -> 40ml hydrofloric acid / 200ml hydrochloric acid / 760ml distilled-deionised water. Be VERY careful with the hydrofloric acid! It must not get on yur skin!
For the electrolite solution you can use coke, phosphoric acid or borax
